The Female Quotient and Denominator launches the FQ Equity Index

It’s time to close the gaps together.

The global effects of the pandemic have set women back on the road to equality. According to World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Report 2021 it will take 135.6 years to close the gender gaps worldwide. This is disheartening — and a call for each of us to advocate for change within our organizations and local communities.

The Female Quotient just launched a new toolkit that will help to close the gender gaps not only faster but also smarter and more inclusive. Among strong companies like Citi, Facebook, and GenderAvenger who created the other tools, Denominator is proud to have created the FQ Equity Index.

We built a tool that measures Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) performance on both the industry and company level to understand and identify potential gaps between a specific company’s DEI performance and its peers.

In our collective drive for inclusion and fair representation, it’s important to understand where we are on the journey and track our progress along the way.  It’s another lens to measure how we’re doing and to share findings that call for action where we see industries or companies stalling or falling behind.
