97 billion DKK of Danish Pension Funds’ investments goes to companies that do not have women representation in boards or executive teams. This figure corresponds to an average of 15% of the equity portfolio.

“Globally, we see an increased interest for all types of investors to understand the impact their investments have on society or specific causes. It is therefore important to get figures like this out so pension contributors can make decisions about where and how their pension funds should work,” said, Anders A. L. Rodenberg, CEO of Denominator.

In collaboration with MatterDenominator has mapped the gender diversity in top leadership of Danish Pension Funds’ equity portfolios. This report will be published in December.

The report is made in connection with a political hearing about Diversity in The Danish Parliament – Folketinget in February 2024.
